The conference's theme was based on an obscure system of numerals called MICR code. Magnetic Ink Character Recognition code is a technology used mainly by the banking industry to streamline the processing and clearance of checks and other documents.

In considering all the levels of information and expression needed in a font family, I made sure to choose typefaces that supported micro-typesetting as well as conveyed mood and identity. I utilized the lesser know symbols of MICR in order to construct intricate patterning throughout the brand.
After completing the main program I applied the branding to additional artifacts to extend the identity system. In doing so I had to consider how choice of format would change, amplify, or weaken the delivery of a message.
As a result, I was able to use the collateral as a means of expanding the application of your identity concept, demonstrating an ability to respond to the needs of a variety of different media contexts
